Are we still interested in doing this? Cause I just found out about a new little place we could go to after in Salinas. I will give you guys all the info on
the Ghost Cruise. Also, someone approached me with info on the Como Parade in Salinas next year, any interest in doing that? Carol would be the best one to
ask what it is, It used to be a Salinas tradition that died out over the years and now they are bringing it back.

I just printed out the registration form. Looks like the only cost is $100 for commercial/business.
It will be Sunday, November 29 at 6 p.m. Application must be in by October 15 -- Number of members (adults/children). I can do this, but need an estimate of how many will be going. We don't have a lot of time to send it in. Shirley |

This a.m. I mailed the application. It's due tomorrow. I put down 8 cars, at Dawn's suggestion.
Maybe we'll have that many?! Only 4 are confirmed now. Let's see what happens November 29. |

Today is November 15. Is anyone besides Carol, Dawn, Kathee, Shirley planning to be in Salinas for the parade? It is a nice one, usually pretty cold out.
Use as many lights as you can!

Carol, Dawn, Shirley, Hy and Kathee for sure. Paul called Carol, I think he is excited about going, I believe Tom and Sandy will be there. Not sure about the
Stillwell's. Cliff and Judy are thinking about making the trek down and at the funeral Carol and I attended we saw Pat, one of our former members with a
red PT we invited her and she said she might surprise us and show up, also, I believe Georgia will be there. Also, people have been asking if we are going to
the Morgan Hill Parade, this one is always a favorite, does anyone know? When is it. Plus, Eric put my lights on that his aunt won at Spring Fever and gave
to us! We actually have ground effects lights now! Not just one black light in the back! Can't wait for you guys to see them.!

The parade starts at 6 p.m. Everyone should be at the staging area in plenty of time to decorate their cars and check in. Probably 5 would be early enough.
If you think you need more than an hour, plan accordingly. The staging area is on Main Street a few blocks past Blanco Road.
I hope to see a lot of cars there. |
