What would you say to going somewhere like Lake El Estero in Monterey and grabbing some picnic tables or spreading blankets out on the lawn? *CRUZN 4ABRUZN...*

We we will change it to: Leave Home Depot in Seaside at 11a.m. Cruise to Lake El Estero for lunch. Then our Signature cruise along Cannery Row and Pacific Grove.

It was great to spend the day celebrating another year with MBPTC. The lunch at Dennis the Menace Park was fun and Kathee, the cake was yummy! Afterwards, the drive was breathtakingly beautiful! The village was a quaint stop for treats afterward. All in all, it was a great day! We discussed aspects of next year's Spring Fever and since Hy, Kathee, Carol and I have picked the theme the last 4 years we are looking to the other members of the club to present a new and wonderfully fresh idea! Think about it, visualize what trophies, goody bags etc with that theme would look like and then the club will vote on the best theme at our next meetzencruzin'. Also, if there is a charity that you would really like us to consider sponsoring, get with the representative of that charity and have them prepare a pitch to present to the club at a future meetzencruzin'. We have some location possibilites that could work out really great for next years show! Plans were also discussed for upcoming cruises and parades that we would like to attend. As well as some possible ideas for the "Ghost Cruise". (Please post and let me know if you have a Halloween idea we haven't done yet and you would like to do.) HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY MBPTC!

Newbie Posts: 27 (06/18/09 01:24:08) Newbie Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Hey all, I just happened to log on and check the page and saw that I missed you guys this weekend. Goshdarnit! It would have been great to have seen you all especially since you were so close to me. I miss you all dearly and always think of the great time and people whenever I see a PT Cruiser. I am doing okay. I am still homeless but am able to bunk down everynight at one of my friends each night so that I have a place to plug in my breathing machine which I need when I sleep. I am slowly getting better despite being diagnosed with type two diabetes. Recently my cardiologist informed me that my heart is now working at 30% which is an improvement from the 15% in 2007. I still have opportunity to improve and am doing everything the doctors tell me. The way my doctor put it to me was if my heart was a four cylinder vehicle, it was only running on one cylinder, now its running on two. I am still down but not out by any means. The BIG GUY upstairs has a plan for me or else he wouldve taken me along time ago. He didnt bring me this far to just let me go. My SSI is still in the appeal process but Im prayerful it will be approved soon. First thing on the to do list is get another Cruiser so I can be on the road again with my PT family. It is wonderful to hear of your progress and you are always in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. Hang in there with the appeals, I am positive all will work out for you.
