Remembering a Founding Member

Gang: Back in the days of Wednesday nights at Roys, when the world was new and PT's were the darlings of the driving public, we had a founding member of the club - his plate read "PT RYDER" - named Mike Fortner, who owned a Patriot Blue and was proud of it. When the first order for club gear wnet out, I delivered the jackets and shirts to Mike and Helen at their house on San Miguel Canyon Rd....

The only reason I'm sharing is because this news limits my communication with you guys even further, (like that was possible). I now, am laid off of my job due to the economy. The thing is, that was my last access to a computer, limited as it was. So, now, I really won't know what's going on.

Tragic loss of a friend

I learned last night of the tragic, senseless loss of Donna Fife, wife of Mark Fife, aka "KEEP THE FIRE BURNING". She was cut down in a deliberate act of aggression by an unlicensed, illegal driver who has a sordid history of reckless and dangerous driving in the nieghborhood where Mark lives. Donna was outside to document damages done by this lowlife, when he jumped in another car and ran her over. Mark was there to give her comfort at the end.

Donna was killed yesterday by a 19 year old's deliberate act of running her down with his car in front of her home in San Jose.
Such a sad, senseless, unnecessary tragedy..............

We wanted to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season and let you all know that we have moved back to the islands, Hawaii in particular!

Computer Crashed

On top of everything else this year the inevitable just happened. Yes, my computer that was on it's last leg just died. Everything I do is on that stupid thing.

I will try to check the ez board as often as I can, but I don't think my boss would like it if I used the computer at work very often. I will try to stay in the loop, but if you need to get a hold of me right now it might be best if you gave me a call either on my cell (831) 710-2277 or at home...

On Monday, March 10th, Kathee's dad, Bob Fischer, passed away in his sleep at home. He had struggled recently with failing health and went to his reward at peace and with no pain.
